Recap of our week
Posted by Kristine Biegel on Friday, April 13, 2012
This week we made the most of this weather, lets see... We went to the library on Monday and also worked on some math and writing. Tuesday at the Root cellar with Rory and some great reading and writing. On Wednesday we walked over to Books a Million, which is a pretty good hike, it was lovely out and we had a great afternoon. Rory was here on Thursday with the girls and Tim working on a variety of math, writing and reading. And on Friday we had our lunch and movie as well as some math and writing.
We are currently working daily on a book called My Feelings belong to me - each day we talk about a new feeling word, give examples of it that are relevant to our lives and then create a page with writing and a drawing on a page in a book that the artists put together and bound with yarn. It is becoming quite a lovely book.
And of course, we are always working on social skills, working as a group, being a good friend and making good choices. It is a lot of fun.
Have a great weekend, we are here on Monday, but RTP is not running so if you are planning on coming please let Bill know.
