We're seeing a lot of transition as two of our Nextsteppers are moving on to STRIVE Bayside, and new Nextsteppers join.  This week was Josh's first week.  Stay posted for info that Josh will post about himself in his own section soon.  The tuesday crew has started back up volunteering at the root cellar- Jimmy and Evan did a phenomenal job this week.  Outings this week included Shaw Park in Gorham, the Portland Public Library, and Macworth Island.  In the classroom, we've been working on making our own kites to fly at Fort Williams, and have also been focused a lot on counting money and making change.  Today we are headed out to the Tate House museum for a tour.  As September quickly approaches, we are preparing to transition out of summer mode and dig into some more exciting curriculum!
