Current Events

Greetings everyone, well this rain has been a killer but we made it through.  This past week we did some great art, went to the Root cellar, celebrated two birthdays in our room, visited LL Bean, went for a walk and made rain sticks (sun sticks we are calling them), worked on a secret code with the alphabet and numbers and did lots of hangman.   Below are lots of pictures from this weeks work.

Dianna made a beautiful rain stick which she worked on for several hours throughout the day, it was very colorful and beautiful.  Hopefully that will help keep the sun shining!  Great job Dianna

On Monday we celebrated John Paul's 21st Birthday and Rory's 23 birthday.  So that gave John Paul the inspiration to use Birthday as his hangman word!  Happy Birthday you guys!!  Did I mention we had ice cream and cup cakes?

This week was a lot of fun, the rain made us a little loopy on Monday but we walked around the mall to get outside and that helped.  We finished up a long term art project we have been working on  - they are hanging up on the wall and they look very unique and show lots of personality of the different artists.

We have also been working on math skills, Rory and I are consistently surprised at how wonderful these guys are at math. Some are learning multiplication tables, some borrowing and some ...
