Greetings everyone, lots to share this week.  First, double check with your students because the first monthly newsletter was sent out today and it is awesome.  Rory and everyone worked extremely hard to put this together, it is full of lots of information about everyone, in their own voices - you can really get a sense of who we are.

What did we learn this week?  Well, we started on Maslow's Hierarchy of needs, we are concentrating on the lower levels right now and starting to understand what we need to be healthy and have success in our lives.  We made our own posters and collaged in words and pictures that met our needs in this. This helps us to understand how to include other's in our groups, how to make good choices and how to take care of ourselves.

We also went to Target this week to start gathering prices on what it would cost to buy things for our Living rooms, Rory is working on a Price is Right sort of game to do next week that will see if it is easy to guess prices or not.
