~THANKSGIVING BREAK~

            I hope everyone had a very lovley thanksgiving, I know that mine was absolutely amazing. Did you go somewhere or stay home to see your family? Did you fill your belly with all thanksgiving fixings.Sometimes I eat so much on thanksgiving I feel like I am in a food coma. But, Now its time to get back into our regular schedule, sometimes that can be hard after a long holiday weekend. This is my first day back this week, But the other Nextsteppers have been back at work all week. I only come to Next step on Wednesdays and Friday

On monday both Kristine and Rory are here to do things with everyone here is a little of what they did

  • Caught up on everyones vacation to see where everyone went, what everyone did, what everyone ate.

  • Worked on a little bit of math problems

  • Used the Smartboard to work on math and money skills

  • Explored the Maine Mall in the afternoon to check out the Train Village and talk to the conductors

On Tuesdays Rory is here usually by herself but this week Jennifer was here to help her

  • They went to the Root Cellar to sort, fold and hang clothes, They usually go here on Tuesdays to volunteer

  • Went to the library to look around and sometimes they even check out books, movies or cd's

  • Words problems

  • Money Jeopardy

  • Budgeting for our social event we are planning on hosting
